Lisa Ann O’Dierno, founder, pursued education to master 3 distinct and major facets of the design field; architecture, interior design and historic preservation. This venture lasted 10 years; gaining a Master of Science in Historic Preservation (MSHP) from Columbia University in the City of New York; Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design (MFA) from the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) in NYC and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSA) from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
Working in New York City and Washington, DC design firms through each degree, this education was fused with professional experience that has continued to accumulate over the past 15 years. After gaining full on professional experience in several mid-sized architectural firms, Lisa founded Cierno Designs, llc in July 2004 and has continued to grow the studio day by day.
Stretching between the residential and commercial markets of New York City, our designers have helped plan and build health care spaces, retail and commercial fit-outs and single to multi-dwelling interiors. Still learning everyday, Cierno’s working studio offers a unique seamless product with a foundation in research and tested design technique.
